Grandpa Ben is Smiling

This morning at breakfast Thomas had a revelation. "Mom, um well, Grandpa Ben, Shelby, and...what was his name?...oh yeah, Johnny Cash all died because they were old, right?" My reply, "Well, Grandpa wasn't really old, but yes, he was older than you and me. Johnny Cash and Shelby were old, yes." Thomas says, "Well, Grandpa can never have a birthday party because he wouldn't be there." "Yes, Thomas, that is true."

I hope Ben is with Johnny Cash right now and they are smiling.
