That quote couldn't be more appropriate today as Thomas starts Kindergarten and Nathan is a big 3rd grader. I can't believe how quickly our children are growing. I feel a little funny, uneasy and reflective today. Thomas was a cool cucumber this morning and made us so proud. Perhaps the fact that there were no tears, and a complete lack of nervousness and drama makes me feel a little bit of those emotions on Thomas' behalf. I worry about his small stature and hope that he is not picked on or left out. I know socially and academically he is right where he should be or beyond, but he is so much smaller than all of the kids. I know as the weeks go by, I will settle down, but today I feel very unsettled.
